Why are there only a few businesses listed in each category?
The MVP List is not a Yellow Pages directory of every businesses in Mercer County. We limit the number of businesses according to category and locale. These are the go-to people we recommend you contact first because of their outstanding reputation and their emphasis on customer service.

Can I recommend a member?
If you know of a person or organization that you feel qualifies to be on the MVPList, please let us know. We will cross-reference our database of members and, if they fit a need within our group, we will take them into consideration.

If someone's not on your list, does that mean they're not a good business person?
Absolutely not. There are plenty of decent, reputable people throughout the County. But in order for the MVP List to be an effective tool for you, the consumer, we need to limit our membership. You can trust everyone on the MVP List to treat you fairly and with complete respect.

What is the purpose/mission of the Mercer County Consumer Network?
The MCCN is the parent organization of the MVP List. We assist businesses in Mercer County who put the consumer first. We want the honest person to succeed, which creates a better environment for the consumers of our area.

How do you handle complaints about your members?
We do not dictate how businesses run their day-to-day operations, nor do we have the authority to mediate customer complaints. However, if a negative situation arises, we will contact that member to find out the details. If we can suggest a resolution, we will do so. Businesses that do not abide by the articles of membership can be dismissed from the MVP List.
